The Armenian Relief & Development Association , ARDA, has been operating ARDA Regional Health Center in the city of Gyumri since 2006. The center contains medical, dental, and optical facilities as well as a laboratory, pharmacy, and training center. An attached warehouse is built to accommodate humanitarian shipments for distribution to the ARDA schools, children, elderly, and impoverished families in the Shirak Region of Northern Armenia.

Delivery of medical supplies, surgical and laboratory equipment are solicited from manufacturers, hospitals, and partner agencies in the U.S. and are shipped by sea and air directly to Armenia throughout the year.

Professionals in the health care field are sought to give input into the planning and implementation of training programs, technical assistance, and management resources.
